| Norfolk
Public Schools (Madison County District #2) is a comprehensive school
system offering education to students in kindergarten through twelfth
grade as well as those identified with special needs. The district
covers 68.8 square miles in Madison, Pierce, Stanton, and Wayne Counties,
and participates in the state option program.
Our
district has nine elementary schools (including a K-3 Montessori
School), Middle School (grade 7), Junior High (grades 8-9), Senior
High (grades 10-12), AFS (a 9-12 alternative school), and Learning
Center and Early Childhood Center (special education), serving over
4,300 students.
Norfolk
Public Schools meet and exceed accreditation requirements of the
Nebraska State Department of Education and North Central Association
of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
