Literature is written in many shapes or forms (or genres).Like the blue shape above that changes from a circle to a square to a triangle, literature on similar subjects can appear in different forms.

Students will be asked to recognize the genres of literature as they read novels, short stories, poems, and drama. We will explore both fiction (imaginary) and non-fiction (true) stories.
