Social Studies Class!!!

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the Open House for this 2007-2008 school year. I hope this year turns out to be the best year ever, and this letter will give you a heads up as to some important items I will be doing this year. Here are a few of those items:

a. I have a webpage that I will be using quite frequently. This page will have everything from my weekly lesson plans, to worksheets available to print, a site to access Parent Connect (online grades), and also a host of other web sites for you to view. I have put a lot of time into this page, and now I would like to share my work with you. If your child misses a day, or needs to remember what we did in class, this web page will be very helpful and useful. My web address is:

b. I will also be setting up an email tree to parents. If you have access to an email account, I will be asking for your email address. This way, I can send out emails to you and let you know when important dates are taking place in my class (tests, quizzes, projects due, etc). I will send these emails out about twice a month, in hopes to keep you up to date with what we are doing in my class. If you do not have access to an email account, you can call our Homework Hotline at (402) 644-2569 after 4 P.M. Please wait to listen for “Team Three Social Studies.”
