4-CORNER SOCCER

This game requires 4 teams, each with a different color pull-over jersey. Each team is stationed at a corner of the playing field. Cones are set up diagonally in each of the 4 corners. A goal is scored if the ball LANDS behind the cones. The object of the game is to have the LEAST amount of points against your own team. ANY team can score in your corner and the point goes to YOUR team…NOT the team that kicked it in.

Two people from each team surround the outer circle in the center of the basketball court. The soccer ball sits in the center of the circle. On the whistle, play begins…the only players going after the ball are the ones that started at the circle. They get 4 minutes of playing time to score as many goals as possible against the other teams. The rest of the players are left guarding their corners. The ball CAN be caught by those guarding the corners. A point is scored if the ball touches the floor behind the cones.

At the end of the four minutes, 2 new players from each team come to the center. Teams can score against any other team they wish to score against.
