- I will try to give time to work on homework in class.
- Homework is expected to be finished on the day it is due(no exceptions –
unless I’ve been talked to ahead of time).
- It is YOUR responsibility to get the assignments and notes you may have
missed. I will not hunt you down
to make sure you have everything.
- You will be required to keep a math notebook. We will talk about those more in depth
later.
|
|
22
|
- Everyone will be required to have a three-ring binder. We will use these everyday.
- All notes, homework, and quizzes/tests will be kept in this notebook.
- At the end of each chapter, we will have a notebook quiz. You will receive a checklist over what
you need in your notebook. I will
then walk around and grade everyone’s notebook based off the checklist.
- We will also keep a Math Journal.
Before each chapter, you will be asked to journal your thoughts
about the upcoming chapter (what you know, what you don’t know, fears,
etc.). At the end of the chapter,
you will be asked to journal again (was the chapter as bad as you
thought, what did you learn, were you wrong with your pre-chapter
thoughts, etc.).
- We will take a homework quiz everyday you have an assignment. I will have selected problems for you
to copy onto a homework quiz sheet.
This will be graded.
