Notice of the regular meeting was published in the Norfolk Daily News on Tuesday, September 28, 2004 and was also posted on the doors at the Administration Office, 512 Philip Avenue and on the door of the City Council Chambers at 309 Madison Avenue, Norfolk, NE.

 

The Board of Education met on Tuesday, September 28, 2004, for a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. at the Norfolk Public Schools Administration Office, 512 Philip Avenue for the purpose of interviewing candidates for construction manager services.  Members present included Jim Scheer, Brad Krivohlavek, Alfredo Ramirez, and Paul Cazabon.   Absent:  Jane McDaniel and Julee Pfeil.  Also present were Superintendent Randy Nelson and Robert Waite.  Jim Berg and John Sinovic of BVH were present also.

 

Jim Scheer, President, called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. and declared a legally advertised meeting of the Board of Education.

 

The entire meeting was devoted to interviewing construction manager firms.  The two firms interviewed included:  CPMI from Des Moines, Iowa and Beckenhauer from Norfolk. 

 

 

Jim Scheer, President, declared the meeting adjourned at approximately 7:20 p.m.
