Notice of the special meeting was published in the Norfolk Daily News on Monday, November 15, 2004.

 

The Board of Education met on Tuesday, November 23, 2004, for the special meeting at 5:15 p.m. at the Norfolk Public Schools Administration Office, 512 Philip Avenue.  Members present included Jim Scheer, Alfredo Ramirez, Julee Pfeil, and Paul Cazabon.   Absent:  Brad Krivohlavek and Jane McDaniel.  Also present were superintendent Randy Nelson, Robert Waite, and Clark Froehlich.

 

Jim Scheer, President, called the meeting to order at 12:08 p.m. and declared a legally advertised meeting of the Board of Education.

 

The board discussed the construction manager proposals from Beckenhauer Construction Company and W. Boyd Jones.  After discussing the pros and cons of each proposal it moved by Alfredo Ramirez, seconded by Paul Cazabon, to accept the proposal of Beckenhauer Construction.  Roll call: Aye:  Scheer, Ramirez, Pfeil, and Cazabon.  Nay:  None.  Absent:  Krivohlavek and McDaniel.  Motion carried.

 

Jim Scheer, President, declared the meeting adjourned at approximately 1:18 p.m.
