About Mrs. Anderson

I am Mrs. Anderson, 4th grade teacher at Woodland Park School in Norfolk, Nebraska.

I have 21 years of teaching experience.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I am currently working towards my Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction, with a concentration in Educational Technology at Wayne State College.

Before coming to Woodland Park School six years ago, I taught 2nd grade in Hartford, South Dakota for three years. Prior to that, I taught grades 3rd, 4th, and 5th in Clarinda, Iowa. My very first teaching job was in Canton, South Dakota where I taught 4th grade for five years. So you see, I have been teaching many different grades, but I must admit, I really enjoy teaching fourth grade!

My Family

My husband, Dan, teaches at Northeast Community College and coaches the men's basketball team. He is also our business partner, so you will get to meet him and his team this year as we work toward our reading goals!

We have three daughters. Meagan is a sophomore in college. Molly is a junior, and Micaela is a freshman in high school. Our home is very busy with sporting events and the girls' activities!

I love teaching at Woodland Park School. Our faculty is dedicated to the goal of providing each student with the opportunities necessary to achieve their highest potential. In order to help your child with this task, we all must work together - teachers, parents, and students! I hope you are as excited about the school year as I am!

Let's work together to make it the best year yet!
