Dear Parents/Guardians of Northern Hills' Elementary Students: Thank you to all the students who participated in the Summer Reading Program at the Norfolk Public Library. Northern Hills had 20 students participate. Another huge thank you for all of you parents and guardians who have taken the time to return all of the forms regarding your children. Your response has been outstanding and very much appreciated! We have adopted a three session noon lunch and recess schedule for the 2005-06 school year. The following are the classes and the times that they have lunch and recess: 3D and 6F - 11:15 - 11:35 (lunch); 11:35 - 11:55 (recess) K, 1W, 1/2A & 2M - 11:35 - 11:55 (lunch); 11:55 - 12:15 (recess) 4W and 5B - 11:55 - 12:15 (lunch); 12:15 - 12:35 (recess) Please welcome Mrs. Erin Forre to the Northern Hills teaching staff. Mrs. Forre is the English Language Learner (ELL) Instructor for students at Northern Hills, Bel Air and Woodland Park. Mrs. Forre is a recent graduate of Wayne State College and travels daily from Newman Grove, Nebraska. Thank you for attending the Northern Hills' PTO Open House on September 12th. You may have noticed the huge book bag that was in the hallway. That book bag will be raffled off to some lucky student by the Northern Hills' Student Council.
